More jobs applied for and more interviews.

I have 2 hiring managers who had been looking at me at the same company. 

I want one of those jobs dammit.

I want to be able to decide where I want to go and be happy at my job.

I want a job.

I am invoking the name and spirit of Saint Jude

I call upon thee, Saint Jude, Patron Saint of Lost Causes.
I am feeling wayward and lost with my life and my employment prospects.
A Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering is in my hands and in my head
Flexibility and adaptability as well as a high willingness to learn is in my heart
Help me to find a good job in my chosen field,
As well as to not lose hope and focus on the way to finding the work.
I want to firmly impress hiring managers and co-workers-to-be
To the point that they take a look at my resume and say
"That's the one!  Offer her a job!  Pay her what she wants!"

Finding Work is hard to do

About two months ago, my contract ended and I have been looking for work since then.

My current total of interviews (both in person and phone screen) is about 11.  I have another one tomorrow morning.  I am tired of looking for work and want someone to please hire me, preferrably to do engineering work.

I want to be just the person a company is looking for and I want it to happen soon.  This has been rough on my mental state.  I think I've been depressed for the last 2 months.

I do not want to have to invoke St. Jude (aka: Patron Saint of Lost Causes) but the longer this goes on, the more I wonder if my finding a good engineering job is a lost cause.

Moar Snow Plz!

Despite there having been a massive storm last weekend, and the fact that it has been warm enough this weekend for some melt-off, I want more snow.

This winter has been very weird with its warm stretches that melt everything between the stretches when it snows and all that.

I want more snow.  And I want a good stretch where it stays cold and stays snowy.

Ugh. Brown so far

The snow that fell all melted and it's been warm and wet, and then cool and wet, and now cool and dry.

It's a week until Christmas.  Winter Solstice is Sunday.

WHERE IS THE SNOW?!

I want my snow, dammit.

I want a white holiday season.

First Accumulation

last Saturday, the area got its first accumulation of snow.

The light levels are still wrong, but I'm enjoying the temperatures.  And the snow on the ground.

There is a forecast for rain and warmer temps this coming weekend. 

Winter is on the way though.

Thanksgiving is next weekend after all.

Halloween was yesterday.

NaNoWriMo started today.

Daylight Savings time ends early tomorrow.

Hurray!

I know people have issues with not enough light, but there are others, like me, who have issues with too MUCH light.
