I have long been a fan of the Robots series by Isaac Asimov.
It only recently occured to me the following:
R. Daneel Olivaw... his first name is actually Daniil (Russian for Daniel)
Elijah Baley... the Russian equivalent of Elijah is Ilya.
Um... Dany and Ilya anyone?
